Laptop Quick Fixes
PROBLEM: My wireless won't connect to the server. When I try to connect I get a message that says "Another wireless network utility is communicating with the Intel PRO/Wireless adapter. To avoid conflicts, Intel's profile management features have been temporarily disabled."
SOLUTION: I had to disable the other wireless program that was working. To do this, I went to START - RUN - and then typed in "services.msc" (minus the "). I found Wireless Zero Configuration in the list and double-clicked. I clicked on "Start-up type" and then clicked "stop". Once I did this, I was able to connect to the wireless server using the Intel PRO Wireless adapter. This has been a problem on a couple of the laptops at my school.
